Jazz on Air
Seit 2021 hat der Jazz eine Heimat auf NDR Kultur. Hintergrundgeschichten, Porträts und Talks mit Jazz-Legenden wie -Talenten gibt es bei Round Midnight, dazu kommt drei Mal die Woche das aktuelle Magazin ab 22:33 Uhr. Dienstagabend werden Livemitschnitte gesendet, am Donnerstag kommt die Sendung der NDR Bigband.

Jazz music has found its new home on NDR Kultur since 2021. In addition to the current magazine „Play Jazz!“ three times a week at 10:33 p.m., the program also includes background stories, portraits and talks with jazz legends and talents in the series „Round Midnight“ on weekdays. Live recordings are broadcasted on tuesday nights, on thursday the NDR Bigband is featured.

Auf Byte.FM mischt sich der Jazz immer wieder in den bunten Mix. Ob soulful bei „Out of Spectrum“ mit Mojo Club-DJ Oliver Korthals, thematische Schwerpunkte mit Götz Bühler in der „Runden Stunde“ oder freie Töne in „Brown Rice“ mit Til Kober.
On Byte.FM, jazz music is frequently added to the colorful mix of music. Whether soulfully during „Out of Spectrum“ with Mojo Club’s DJ Oliver Korthals, focusing on specific subjects with Götz Bühler in the show „Runde Stunde“ or free sounds in „Brown Rice“ with Til Kober.
Auf dem Bürgersender TIDE gibt es zahlreiche Sendungen. Das Programmschema ändert sich häufig, alle Sendungen stehen jeweils 7 Tage zum Nachhören auf der Internetseite. MusikMelange/ JazzMelange mit Matthias Kolwe gibt es jeweils dienstags und donnerstags, „Jazz Point“ mit Maria Plankburg samstags ab 11 Uhr. Außerdem noch Swing in „Jazz Story“ mit Uwe Johns und das „JazzHausRadio“ mit Ralf Böcker und Gästen.
